West of England Captains' Inter County Championships - 7 April 2017

 

Teams of twenty four players from Gloucestershire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire were divided into six pairs on each of Saunton’s East and West courses for a betterball stableford competition with all cards added for the County score.

 

Ideal weather conditions complimented another special occasion with the defending champions, Somerset, retaining the trophy. The course was in excellent condition and Gloucestershire came a creditable third out of the six counties.
