Gloucestershire Golf Captains
Gloucestershire Golf Captains vs Somerset Golf Captains Mon 3rd June 2019.
The Match against Somerset saw us return very quickly to Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club having played the Coronation Salver there 5 days previously.
Thankfully the weather was warm and dry this time as opposed to the cold wet rain we had experienced previously.
A big thank you goes out to our Match Manager Keith Hanson who sorted the day in an excellent manner
.
The contest itself was a close run affair with GGC losing out at the death to record a 4 ½ to 3 ½ Loss. (Please see below table for details)
Congratulations to Somerset who were ably led by Captain John Beer.
We thank again Stinchcombe Golf Club for their Hospitality and the use of the course which was very well presented.
The Meal was well received and clean plates returned which is always a good sign. Many thanks to the catering staff for another excellent day.
