Gloucestershire Golf Captains VS South Wales Coastal Golf Captains.
Our match against the South Wales Coastal Golf Captains was played on Weds 31st of July at Tredegar Park Golf Club and once again the weather was very kind and the match played on a lovely sunny day.
Our thanks were expressed to the Coastal Golf Captain John Llewellyn for affording us tremendous hospitality and a splendid day.
Our thanks were also expressed to the Tredegar Park Club Captain Terry Anderson who kindly sponsored a nearest the pin for our team and who kindly guided myself and my partner around the course.
Tredegar Park was presented in excellent condition and the catering was indeed superb. Many thanks Tredegar Park and the South West Coastal Captains for a very enjoyable experience in the Welsh countryside.
In terms of the result the Home side ran out winners by 5 ½ to 2 ½. Thank you to all that participated and I hope you enjoyed the event as much as I did.
