Gloucestershire Golf Captains

Bacon Rolls and coffee were on hand as the players arrived and registered to do battle with the course which looked very inviting.

 

We kicked off at 10am with the hopes that the weather would hold but unfortunately the drizzling rain was persistent throughtout the day.

 

Spirits were not dampened however and everyone finished their round with some great scores being posted.

​

Along the way, we were greeted by Wulli and Vicky at the halfway house where everyone had the opportunity of drinks and snacks​.

Henbury Club Captain, David Leyden, was asked to pass on our thanks to Henbury Golf Club for facilitating the event, the Bar & Catering staff for keeping us fed and watered, Janinne and Josh in the office for their efforts in making the day run
smoothly, the Green Staff who presented the course in superb condition and last but not least to the Henbury GC Members for accommodating this day on their course.​

Thanks to Captain Geoff, Eric Millard and Gordon Wood, Henbury GC Past Captain for their stints as Starters on the 1st Tee.​
Special thanks to Wulli and Vicky for their help with the raffle (with the proceeds going to the Henbury Junior Golf Section) and finally to Captain Geoff for hosting a great day!​
