Roy Powell
Forest Hills GC Club Captain 2010
We received the sad news from Forest Hills that Roy, who was also Seniors Captain in 2005, had passed away on the morning of Friday 12th May.
Roy's funeral was held on Friday 16th June at The Church of the Holy Jesus, Lydbrook.

Robin Hannigan
Stinchcombe Hill GC Club Captain 1992
We received the sad news that Robin passed away on 13th May after a long illness.
Our thoughts are with his daughters Claudine and Martine at this time.
Robin's funeral was held on Monday 19th June at 1.15pm at the Westerleigh Crematorium, followed by the wake at The Players Golf Club, Codrington.

Adrian Bold
Henbury GC Club Captain 2019
We were very sorry to hear that Adrian Bold, a long standing member of Henbury GC had passed away on the 31st May 2023. He was a stalwart of the golf club, holding several roles over the years from Club Captain to Club Treasurer and was a very popular member who will be sorely missed. Our condolences to Claire and the family.
Adrian's funeral was held on Thursday 22nd June at Canford Crematorium and afterwards at Henbury golf club.

Ralph Crisp
Lilleybrook GC Club Captain
We received the sad news that Ralph passed away on Wednesday 14th June, he was 95.
A Past President and Captain at Lilley Brook, Ralph was also County President in 2002 and County Secretary from 1986 until 2000. He was Secretary at LB for a short time.
Past holder of the England Golf Gerald Micklem Award which is presented annually to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to further the interest of amateur golf in England.
Instigator of the England Golf Captains Tournament in its present form including participation of the Gloucestershire Golf Captains in the Ralph Crisp Trophy EGC qualifier.
Ralph promoted amateur golf at club, county and national level.
Our thoughts are with Ralph’s family and friends at this time.
The arrangements for the celebration of Ralph's life were as follows:
Date - Wednesday 12th July in the Cheltenham Crematorium, Bouncers Ln, Prestbury, Cheltenham GL52 5JT
The wake followed at Lilley Brook Golf Club, Cirencester Rd, Cheltenham GL53 8EG.

Robert Bodoano
Ross-on-Wye GC Club Captain 1998
We received the sad news that Robert passed away on Friday 7th July.
Robert enjoyed many years of membership and played a key role in the development of the club always supporting events both on and off the course.
Our thoughts are with his family during these difficult times.
Robert's funeral was held on 16th August at St. Mary's Church, Linton, Ross-on-Wye, followed by refreshments at Linton Village Hall.

Alan Berry
Lydney GC Club Captain 1975
Alan passed away peacefully on Sunday 27th August 2023 with his Wife Margaret and Son at his side.
He was Lydney GC Chairman from 1977 to 1982 and their President from 2005.
Alan will be sorely missed by his many friends within the Golfing community of Gloucestershire and beyond.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends at this sad time.
Alan's funeral was held at Aylburton Methodist Church, GL15 6DE on Friday 29th September at 12 noon followed by a private cremation. After the service, a reception was held at Lydney Golf Club.
His family has requested that club/society blazers and ties should be worn. They believe this would have been warmly received by Alan.
A guard of honour was held outside of the chapel on Alan's departure.
