Ladies Weekend - Carlyon Bay
The weekend starts on various days with tourists arriving from Wednesday onwards.
The GGC competitions are held from Thursday to Sunday.
Tthe non-golfing ladies do their own thing on Saturday with either a shopping/sight-seeing trip or a discounted Spa treatment. There are also some lovely walks along the coast as well as the the coastal path into Charlestown .
Saturday evening is the black tie drinks reception. Dressed in our finery everyone is presented to our hosts, The President and Captain with their respective partners.
Following dinner we retire to the lounge and some entertasintainment where revellers can strut their stuff on the dance floor!
On Sunday morning, the Non-golfing Partners compete in their putting contest for the coveted trophy and in the afternoon they then enyoy a complimentary wine & cheese tasting session delivered by the hotel.
Later we sit down to our last dinner of the trip and have a bit of fun with a table quiz along with loads of banter, the all-important prize giving and countless stories of the weekend.
We depart after breakfast on the Monday morning.
