Event Details

• The Championship shall be stroke play played over 18 holes.

• The winner shall be the competitor who returns the lowest gross score.

• In the event of a tie the winner shall be decided by a ‘sudden death’ play-off.

• There will be a prize for the Runner Up.

• The Competitor who returns the best net score will win the Norman Dumford Challenge Trophy.

• There will be a prize for the Runner Up.

• Subsidiary Competitions by age group shall be played within the Championship.

• Competitors returning the lowest gross score over 18 holes in each of the age groups,

  • 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70 and over shall receive a prize.

• Winner and Runner Up shall not be eligible for a subsidiary group prize.

• The MacAllan Cup will be awarded for the best 2 net scores from a nominated team of 3 players from the same club. (Entry fee is £9.00 per team.)

• 120 Competitors maximum shall be eligible to compete.

• The attention of all competitors is drawn to the General Conditions relating to all Union Championships and Tournaments.
